The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I stumped it with Anansi. Fitting, I suppose.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It couldn't get the writer Fritz Leiber though it got close with Roger Zelazny. However, now that it has my answers it probably will get Fritz Leiber.

Otherwise it was terribly efficient at getting Tom Waits and Aang and Frankenstein.

brillig

16 questions to get Rodney Mckay, as soon as the "Is your character Canadian?" came up, I knew it had gotten it.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Creepy alogrithim that figured out who I was thinking about in less than 20 questions. Try it!

It took 27 questions and an incorrect guess to reach Phar Lap. I suspect, though, that's because it thinks Phar Lap is Australian.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Ha, it finally got Raine Maida, but it guessed Bryan Adams first.

Holy shit, how the hell did it get Joanna Newsom just from that?? She cannot possibly be the only long-haired singer associated with California who has dated someone famous. But I suppose he eliminated others.

Of course he got Daredevil.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

sarameg, can you e me? My neighbor's cat has diabetes, and I wanted to pick your brain on a couple of things if you wouldn't mind.

I stumped the quiz on Tim Powers.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just articulated a thought in the SPN thread. If you over-spoilerfont, you're making things harder for a number of mobile devices. I'm not talking about protecting people from squick or triggers, just fiction related stuff. I tend to notice when people do it in bucket threads the most, and I get the impulse, but the assumption should be that you're HOME, and it's a safe place for posters following the rules.

Opinions, dissent?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

It got Puss In Boots (the movie one) in 18. Not that I was trying to think of someone too obscure.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I beat it with Art Clokey.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I beat it with Ayelet Waldman, Patricia Briggs, and a soap opera actor.
