Zoe: What's that, sir? Mal: Freedom, is what. Zoe: No, I meant what's that? Mal: Oh. Yeah. Just step around it. I think something must've been living in here.

Dana, I'm sorry.

I got up around 7. Made it downstairs. I've been on the couch, sleeping with cats on me ever since. Cold is not being nice to me. Have to go swim now, before the pool closes. Predict bad times.

Trust my rage

I had the same thought, also, although I have no idea why he would track ita down and give her the bag if he was involved.

This is what fandom has done to me. Also, FB friends, who I know in RL but haven't seen in ten years, announced that their 8 year old son died of cancer on Christmas Eve. And while my reaction was 95% "how sad and awful", there was 5% of "really? on Christmas Eve he finally dies after two years of fighting?"

Dana, I am so sorry about your loss.

I understand the suspicions, but I think you'd have to be pathological to break into a car, steal the laptop & then return the laptop bag to the owner. Not that it's impossible, but unlikely.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Some people are pathological. I'm just saying, "That would crazy/stupid!" is never a reason to think that a human didn't do something. Humans are kinda nuts. I didn't think he might be a bad guy, though. Guess I'm still somewhat trusting of my fellow crazy humans.

ION, my frakkin' wireless works again. All I did was turn it off, let it rest, and turn it on again. I can't guarantee this happy state of affairs will last, but for now, I'm upstairs on my eeePC AIFG.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

See in my head, if I delivered items back in person, I would be casing the homes, also getting info on the owners I would't know from the original theft. Is it a couple, young person, old person, guy, girl, kids, pets? Like I said, welcome to my brain. I am the person who doesn't invite neighbors into my home until we have had many many interactions and usually until I have been in their house first. My psyche, let me show you. Shockingly single, I know.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

People, you are insane. The guy who returned the laptop bag is not planning a more elaborate heist than the "smash car window and steal laptop" job.

Art Crawl!!!

Very different m.o.s - so unlikely.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

I'm sorry, Dana.

My condolences on your loss, Dana.

Dana, I'm very sorry.

I won't need an alarm clock for the next two weeks: the dogs go off at 6:30 AM regardless of when I went to bed. I ended up with the Pony in my bedroom and my pillow over my head just so I could stay in bed for an extra 45 minutes. It is New Year's Day, after all!

Walked the dogs, fed my niece & her two friends, scooped the yard, vacuumed the kitchen. Can I go back to bed now?
