Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Ha. I'm just trying to act like a grownup and not cry in front of people, but I am also just realising that the exorbitant insurance premium I pay doesn't cover items in the car, but at least I know my policy covers rentals. So I'm probably liable to work for the cost of the thing too.

information libertarian

If you have homeowners/renters insurance, it generally covers items stolen from your car.

No, I have no renters insurance. That's much too organised for the level at which I operate.

And Enterprise was all "Well, we close at noon, so bye." Thanks, guys. We were getting along *so* well.

I'm really not coping very well. I have no clear idea of how I'm getting the car back, but at least I have something in place to get another car. From another company. Which is not cheaper, but they are not being dicks right now, so they win.

I just don't know how to do all of this. I really don't. I can't deal with fucking this up right now.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

ita, what a giant pain in the ass. Your regular insurance company may cover rentals and be able to help you out.
