I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

1 full trash bag by the door shouldn't stop you from cleaning the rest of the place. I mean, right.

I actually starting organizing the guest room yesterday. But I think I will work on my room before I do more work on it. My from is the worst in the house and that doesn't seem conducive to a calm and organized mind. Speaking of, day 3 of wakko crazy dreams that I wake up from with shoulders at my ears and completely tense back. one of my dreams last night I was a reluctant landlord to maybe the most ignorant people ever and had to deal with their severe neglect of pets. not cool, brain, not cool.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Wow, Amyth. You've been busy since Tuesday.

I picked up a cold this week and slept 11 hours last night. I suspect tonight will involve more NyQuil than prosecco.

You and me both. I'm excited that the morning market trip was fast, so I can sneak in a nap...

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Russell Brand lost me at "HE FUCKED YOUR GRANDDAUGHTER!!" I don't care how funny he is, he's an asshole and I won't watch him.

So wait, does that mean it is or is not possible to make sourdough starter from yeast at the grocery store? Or os all yeast one colony? That seems like a distinction without a difference, if so.

I think he means all sourdough from SF bakeries. Wild yeast strains are highly localized - you can make sourdough outside the Bay area but it won't taste the same. (Even if you import a sourdough starter from SF, it will collect local wild yeast as it matures, which changes the flavor proile.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

1 full trash bag by the door shouldn't stop you from cleaning the rest of the place. I mean, right.

Well, right. But it would kill the magical part.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think he means all sourdough from SF bakeries

So no SF bakery has ever made their own starter? Really? Weird. At least it's less weird than his actual assertion that no one had ever made their own starter--I was tempted to make some for that very easily disprovable reason. And then I got lazy again.

I would also like to note that the weather here today is the WORST -- rainy and 35. Why can't it be 30 and snowy???

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

We're planning to go to First Night Alexandria. Weather should be good for it.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Cover the bag in glitter. INSTANT MAGIC.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Dream on.

Yeah, I know.

Still think the escrow officer should have been done, though, since we managed to get escrow closed despite her best efforts.
