Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Thank you. I am not sure what Drummond could be lying about at this point, assuming those are her kids, husband and dog. She doesn't write the home school posts herself, and I feel like most of the other posts are giveaways or photo contests. And I guess I always assumed she really didn't get up and do ranching stuff or anything.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Ha, I can totally picture Ree Drummond as a soc. I have a coworker who is mildly obsessed with her (somewhat, but not entirely, ironically), and our magazine actually flew her to OK last year to interview her. Apparently she was very nice, FWIW, though I imagine she turns on the charm like whoa for any media exposure.

We are having such a nice, relaxed day, just hanging out and getting stuff done around the house. And there are three more days of weekend after this one!! Seriously, this is better than Christmas was last weekend.

Jen, all kinds of ~ma for your mom. Keep us posted.

Amy, yay for 23 years! And huge congratulations to Gris & family!

Because books.

Drummond's husband comes from old Oklahoma ranching money, so she's never been exactly hard-scrabbling it out there. But she seems genuine enough to me about the cooking and photography, and she tweets fun things -- sometimes she does movie quizzes for no reason other than amusement.

Marlboro Man, as she calls her husband, is also pretty cute.

Oh, the pioneer woman. OK, I know who she is; I just never knew her name. She has a tee vee show now, yes?

In news only interesting to me, perhaps, I have fifteen days worth of podcasts on my Nano. Fifteen days!! That's a lot of talking. It's possible that I have a slight addiction.

Because books.

A SyFy pilot with everyone we know in it. Which apparently SyFy is not picking up.

Alona Tal, James Marsters, and Battlestar Galatica people were in it!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Best thoughts to your ma, Jen.

Got out of work early, bought a muffin tin (thought I might get one for Xmas) and some shirts to choose from for NYE, and grocery shopped, and am home! The additional accomplishment there was getting through two WTFs along the way, so I feel your podcast pain, Jen.

Also, I thought I saw Rob Corddry on the street, so I'm just going to assume it was him, OK?

Art Crawl!!!

Wow. I can't believe I missed Three Inches AND Precinct 17.

Sad now.

Also, I love Facebook -- I just got a New Year's Day invitation that included a guy I dated in high school, and he looks a mess now! Good times.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Jen, good thoughts for your mom.

Totally saw Rob Corddry. Totally.
