I'm not a doctor, but it is my considered opinion that stabbing yourself in the face will make your overall head hurt more.
I was too spent to make egg nog (which actually doesn't look hard at all), but I am eating peppermint bark made for me by my nephew. Yum. I will make egg nog tomorrow, I've decided.

Christmas eve
coffee at the local coffee shop
brunch at a friends that included many mimosas and at ;east 6 kids under 3 -- they like Matt's guitar,

then over to a friends house for mulled wine and snacks.

I do have a friend who's uncle recommended at 2 by 4 to the back of the head as a cure - or at least a distraction from a sinus headache
I'm ready to kick the kids to bed (or at least banish them to their rooms). My shoulder isn't happy and I want to apply drugs. But first I must, ummm, take care of a few things before tomorrow morning.
I tried to call my dad today and we played phone tag. I haven't actually talked with the man since before Thanksgiving, just phone tag. I want to know if my package made it to him as it had a treat in it for tonight. Also, we haven't gotten anything from him - no package, no Christmas card, no nothing - which is not normal. Has made today feel odd. I miss my mom and I can't connect with my dad.

Technically Xmas here, so merry Christmas ! Brother and I were up way too late talking and drinking . I LOVE talking to my bro.
Unfortunately, the kids will wake up damn early and I'm sleeping next to the tree.
