Joyce: You don't think it's too obvious? I think I look like I have a cat on my head. Buffy: But a very well groomed cat. Joyce: Well that's a comfort.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My god, my sister forced me into the position of explaining slash. Luckily it took so long to explain 'canonical' to my parents that they got distracted, but she totally threw me under the bus.

I'm just asking....you are the one that opened the gross door. Don't bring it if you can't swing it.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I made up some hot buttered bourbon. We're reading stories and people are nodding off one by one. Sis fell asleep lying on the rug, Papa is nodding off on the love seat. Cats everywhere, of course.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Woo, I am family-ed out. Lunch and presents with my dad (who gave us an astonishing sum of money, which he has been doing for the past few years, in addition to small things like chocolate and wine and treats for the pets...and a stereo [the current stereo is very old and the CD carousel doesn't work, and one with an iPod dock sounded pretty sweet]), and then to my mom and stepdad's for presents (an amusingly domestic haul [all of which was requested]: silpat baking mats, a cake carrier, a GF cookbook, bedsheets [I almost typed "new bedsheets," but the "new" really should be implied, shouldn't it?], and a gift card to Home Depot) and dinner with stepdad's extended family, who I really do love, but who are loud and chaotic.

I did win $2 on a scratch-off lottery ticket in my stocking, and Tim won $1, so big money for us, hey hey!

I'm amused at how fucking excited I am about the silpat baking mats. I want to bake things right now! Gluten-free things from the new cookbook!

I don't know when I became Donna Reed.

Tim is locked in the bedroom wrapping things and forbade me to come in.

I have a headache that makes me want to stab myself in the face.

I haven't actually drunk yet. But I've had virgin sorrel, ackee and saltfish, patty, and mince pies, home made. Maybe another...with Ting.
