I have spent two hours on the phone today with various gov't agencies that all want to me to go away and call someone else. (Trying to get permission to put a humane trap up.) While on hold I wrote my congress person at bonny's suggestion. It looks like John Kelly in the WP will write about us again, so I mentioned how nice it would be to tell him about all the help the various departments have given us, rather than all the roadblocks.

I have one more sequestered day. Thank dog the consultants they usually send are of good humour. I don't know if that's a consultant thing, an IT consultant thing, although it is making me overshare. And be overcruel. I just told them that one of my coworkers cries every time he goes to the washroom.
