Cordelia: I get it now. You're all spies. Probably all Russian. And you've brainwashed me, and want me to believe we're friends so I'll spill the beans about some nano-technology thingy that you want. Gunn: So I look Russian to you? Cordelia: Black Russian. Angel: That's a drink.

Jessica, hope Dylan's bug passes quickly and that it stays away from the rest of you. The chess set is cool!

Sox, good luck at the ENT. And with the refi. And we will do coffee after the holidays, yes?? Yes.

Erin, seriously? That is a crappy beginning to your trip, SO you've gotten all of the crappy out of the way, is how I see it.

Someone around here had recommended a hotel in London (maybe to sj?) - does anyone know what that was?

I have spent two hours on the phone today with various gov't agencies that all want to me to go away and call someone else. (Trying to get permission to put a humane trap up.) While on hold I wrote my congress person at bonny's suggestion. It looks like John Kelly in the WP will write about us again, so I mentioned how nice it would be to tell him about all the help the various departments have given us, rather than all the roadblocks.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I was SO on a plane to Bama. "roll tide" was shouted out by the Attendants when we landed. And echoed by the passengers.

As is right and proper.

It was the Regency Hotel in Kensington.

Love the chess set.

What are you trapping, Sparky?

What are you trapping, Sparky?

Sassafras. A long-shot at best, but we are willing to try. So much park land around here is a mish-mash of local and federal administration.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What's "roll tide"?

I have one more sequestered day. Thank dog the consultants they usually send are of good humour. I don't know if that's a consultant thing, an IT consultant thing, although it is making me overshare. And be overcruel. I just told them that one of my coworkers cries every time he goes to the washroom.

"Roll Tide" is cry of the University of Alabama sports fan.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

"Roll Tide" is cry of the University of Alabama sports fan.

As opposed to "Roll Wave Roll," which is for Tulane. (It seems there aren't that many verbs for ocean-related sports team names.)
