Wash: Don't fall asleep now. Sleepiness is weakness of character. Ask anyone. You're acting captain. Know what happens you fall asleep now? Zoe: Jayne slits my throat, and takes over. Wash: That's right. Zoe: And we can't stop it.

Erin, lighters are allowed as a carry-on item.

THAT IS AWESOME NEWS!

Of course, my layover is 45 minutes. Curses. I am EXTREMELY efficient, though.

No smoking lounge? In Detroit? That's crazy-talk. Ah, well, I have tic-tics, and now I can can fire. Makes up a little for the weapons.

Woke up at 3:45. Go team (YAWN) me.

msbelle, you do not suck. The employers you have had sucked. Trust me.

Ok. Off to storm the castle, folks.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I had the fun fun experience of mopping vomit off our bedroom floor last night at 1:30 in the morning. Thank god Dylan projectile vomited onto the floor and the dresser and not in either of our beds, is all I have to say.

He woke up three more times after that, but fortunately he made it to the bathroom. And even more fortunately Aeryn slept through the whole thing.

DH is home with him today because I took yesterday off when our babysitter's daughter came down with what I assume is the same bug. He can't keep food down so we clearly can't send him to school, but in between the bouts of nausea he feels fine and is bouncing off the walls. And it's pouring rain today so they can't even go blow off steam in the backyard.

I foresee a movie marathon in his future...

Now tagless for your comfort.

Jessica, we had a version of that virus last week. Bouts of vomiting and in between, bored, wound up kid stuck at home.

Amy - Dec 21, 2011 4:52:20 am PST #12437 of 30001
Because books.

Stomach bugs are the worst. I can deal with blood. Vomit, not so much.

not your mom's socks.

Poor Dylan. Ugh, Jessica. I wish you a puke-free day.

Much comfort and ~ma to Nilly and family.

We just finished the paperwork for a possible re-fi. Now we are praying the assessment comes in at the right number. Then we will be able to get away from Big Bad Bank. Finally. I am so tired of this mess.

Off I go to the ENT for an evaluation of the wrongness of my sinuses. Whee.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.
