I think most people don't know anything about historical eras and that's the nearest Olden Type one. I doubt any of those people know what baroque is except possibly as a very fruity kind of classical music.

Yes. I know I'm guilty of misusing the term sometimes, but I usually try to say "Victorian-inspired".
