Nope, no warranty--and I've had the house for about a year and a half now, so that'd be out anyway.
I mostly wanted to make sure that hot water heater problems are still a plumber call, and not some other type person. I can call the plumbers that came out before, they were nice (even if they didn't really find a problem). Had to look up the check I used back then, make sure who it was!
Someone remind me to be a responsible grown-up type. Because one of the two limited-edition versions of the "Bela Lugosi's Dead" single I covet is currently on eBay at a very reasonable price. I don't need it. I know that. But oh! How I wants it. [link]
It is probably the pilot light. The first time it happened to me, I watched the plumber and asked questions, so I've been able to do it myself since. It does help to have a longer clicky fire thing.

Well, since the hot water provides my heat, hopefully I can get a plumber out pretty early tomorrow (though I have a 10AM doctor's appointment, so it may get pretty chilly in here before I can get someone!)

I got my room cleaned and organized, finished laundry and did dishes. I'd wanted to make chicken salad for tomorrow but ran out of time. Went to a lovely Lessons & Carols service at my sister's church (they have an awesome choir that she and her partner and my niece are all in), and then we all + my mom and a few friends went out to dinner after. Nice!
Buffistas, please remind me to buy small presents next year. I have my largest suitcase and a hockey bag sized duffel packed full of gifts for my family. With a week's worth of clothes for me tucked in here and there.
