Very convincing. Makes me completely want to put myself under government control. Please take me to where you can make me unconscious and naked.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oh my gosh, my head feels like it's gonna fall off and my body feels like it wants to pass out. What the hell?

Sorry, I shouldn't complain here knowing that I'm lucky, that this kind of headache is a rarity for me but bleh.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

My sister does IT, and other than being a Doctor Who fan (more classic Who than current, though), she was never really into SF. However, she married a SF geek, so she's been slowly indoctrinated into it. She's now seen most of Buffy and Angel, got sucked into Torchwood and then current Who. But, I have loaned her and BIL my Firefly and BSG dvds, and they haven't had the time to watch them so I got them back.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Jessica, we've done lots of gift cards in the past for the kids' teachers. Always welcome.

Owen and I just read the Lego press release for Lord of the Rings sets coming in 2012. I don't know who's more excited.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Here's something odd, and maybe a sign of the (crappy) times. My dentist sent out an email recently that in December and January, she will accept gift cards (any major retailers) as payment.

Oo Cash!

Okay, I think I can fit a nap in before I pick up the kids. I was supposed to clean the house, but that's just not going to happen.

How odd. Or possibly innovative, I guess.
