I also knew when I voted for Obama. But on some issues he was worse than I expected. Civil liberties he is NOT a what used to be a moderate Republican. His civil liberty position is more on the lines of the Nixon wing of the Republican party. And well to the right of where he campaigned. Nor does he sufficiently respect scientfic evidence. Plan B is only the latest example.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Plan B is only the latest example.

I still haven't regained the power of speech on that one. I am still just white with rage and making ineffectual clucking noises.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So, I was wondering if Plan B would ever actually be on the shelves in drugstores, given that it's $50 a pop, and it seems like they would lock it up somehow. So I asked my friend who works in EC, and she said she had asked manufacturers that very question, and THEY said they had talked to drugstores about having it just out.

So I thought that was interesting, anyway.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Yeah, they have tooth whitening stuff, perfumes, and skin creams out on the shelves that is $50 at places like CVS.

I am ragey about the Plan B thing. In further Don't Read the Comments Section developments, I was surprised at how completely open people can be about their opinion that pregnancy is a punishment for sex.

I would like funding for a short film in which vigilantes break into people's homes, slap them, and revoke their internet privileges for life.

Lovely, msbelle.

ION, limbic makes my face red and flushed now. why for?

That's what all alcohol does to me.

Because books.

It's pretty!

I always flush no matter what I'm drinking.

thanks len, they were inspired by Sue's walls. I never used to get flushed when drinking unless I was REALLY drinking, but now one wine glass of fruit beer. stupid.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Alcohol makes me flush, too. Worse when it makes my chest and neck flush, but not my face. Then it's not even *fetching*, it just looks stupid.

Oh god, self-evaluations are due tomorrow. My boss emailed that she "doesn't want one-liners". Apparently we're really supposed to put some *thought* into it this time. Like it matters. I resent this way more than it's worth, and I'm not even sure why.
