Damn you, Bridget! Damn you to Hades! You broke my heart in a million pieces! You made me love you, and then you-- I SHAVED MY BEARD FOR YOU, DEVIL WOMAN!

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

If it can be "military" instead of specifically Army, shrift, I could.

That would be awesome!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I don't so much let perfectionism stop me from drawing as end up going back days (or months) later and redoing stuff if I don't like it and it's nagging at me.

Speaking of, here's something I originally did as a black & white marker rendering but have now redrawn in color on the computer: [link]

Weird, I didn't think that forum required a password just to view. I've switched the link to lead to the image at my livejournal gallery now.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

You need water poured over your cootch?

Are you gonna put lotion on it?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I keep muttering to myself: "The perfect is the enemy of the good."

I've always liked that saying, but could never work out on which side we were supposed to be.

In a not unrelated note, my favourite argument for God's existence is Anselm's Ontological Proof.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Ah, Hec, that sucks! I hope she gets over that. It's too early to start that self-defeating cycle.

Olivia currently whines when Owen has homework and she has none--because she craves the attention and feeling of accomplishing anything as opposed to doing nothing. I try to tell her to enjoy it while she can.

Here's a shot of me putting a block on an opposing jammer at my bout on Saturday night. I was foster skating for another team (The Chocolate City Cherry Bombers) and we got our asses whupped by the South Bend Studebreakers. Their player Afro Disiac, besides being adorable, has an ass that should be registered as a lethal weapon.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

You look very formidable, Cash! Possibly, you should print this picture to take along to show any prospective muggers to convince them to move on.

My biggest strategy to getting over my perfectionism streak is giving myself plenty of permission to PLAY -- make exploratory sketches that aren't Supposed To Be Good, try a dozen different filters in Photoshop, write as fast as I can for fifteen minutes. Decouple the Muse from the Editrix so the latter doesn't strangle the former before she gets some solid material to do her own editorial magic on.
