Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

you would need a tumblr for every seperate fascination

Which I do have. But I'm really adamant about separation of personalities. You don't want the crossover, no you don't.

I don't think Pinterest is for me. Tumblr is fine for stuff I'm willing to share with other people, and I have Evernote and Springboard for stuff I clip for my own purposes. And I certainly don't have the bandwidth to follow people somewhere else.

I do wish I were organised enough for Polyvore, though. I'm just not thorough enough to do it justice.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

What no more guesses for cannibalized and berets?

That quote is gold.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Yay, Allyson, I am so excited about your guitar! I want to give you lessons! Alas, I am too far. But please, please feel free to ask me anything or complain or anything you want. I'm super happy to encourage you or help you out with the process.

Thanks so much for all of that! I'm itching to get home and practice positioning my hands correctly on the neck and such. I was told to just practice holding down the strings with my fingers on the frets lowest (and closer together) while strumming and watching tv so I could get my hands used to the motions. So that's what ima do when I get home.

I wish you and Matt were here to give me lessons, too!

Teppy?

It does have a bit of the Teppy quippiness and statement of principle. But she doesn't have quite that stiff, New Englander [hint] sense of offense and propriety.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Nutty is correct!

Though I think Ellen is quite capable of such a comment.

Let's go with a classic:

I saw a monkey beat up a jackel once. Seriously, monkey thwapped it a good one with a stick when it got to close as if to say, "Opposable thumbs, ASSHOLE!"

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Someone in our conference call put us on hold. I'm not entirely sure why people on corporate lines put people on hold. It's so rude.

But this person was on the phone in India, so at least the hold lady sounded new to my ears. In fact, she sounded *great*. However, sadly, the muzak was entirely par for the Western course.
