Lowe’s, Bank of America, the Campbell Soup Co., Dell, Estee Lauder, General Motors, Goodyear, Green Mountain Coffee, McDonalds, Sears, and Wal-Mart
Green Mountain Coffee? Ouch. My SiL is a buyer for them. I think I will shoot her an e-mail.
You should especially eat at Wendy's, msbelle! (Because of their/Dave Thomas's support for adoption.)
Well, dammit Home Depot is implicated as well.
So I cannot boycott Lowes AND Home Depot. But I can write letters to the CEOs, which is what I will do.
I had a Roy Batty moment this morning when I rolled over and saw I only had ten more minutes before I had to get up: "I want more sleep, fucker!"
Re: Lowes vs. Home Depot, although they are smaller Ace Hardwares tend to be locally owned. Also, [link] I won't be able to convince my org not to buy from either of them, unfortunately. I don't think. Hmm.

How is that cat not using claws! If he is, that woman has some mad focusing skillz!
I'm honestly surprised McDonald's caved to that kind of pressure, they're normally fairly vocal about being supportive of things. Did no one at corporate think people would notice--and care? Other than the wingnuts?
As for the Campbell's Soup, weren't they the company that right wing blogs were saying was part of the jihad conspiracy a year or two ago because a few of the soups they sold in Canada were labeled halal?
