I battle evil. But I don't really win. The bad keeps coming back and getting stronger. Like that kid in the story, the boy that stuck his finger in the duck.

Because books.

Cajun does refer a place name, just not the right place name anymore.

But even then, "Cajun" wasn't a precise reference to Acadiana, which would have been les Cadiens or les Acadiens.

Pandora now wants to hook me up with men in Philadelphia? I was not expecting that. Well, not Pandora directly. I guess they just want me to know that match.com does. But, hey, free music... it's all good.

More poached chicken and broth. I have a lot of frozen chicken breasts. More soup, and some chicken salad from the current round, I think.

I should go to sleep, but I want to watch Leverage. What to do, what to do?

Cereal:

Ooh, Pandora is now reminding me about Christmas at Longwood Gardens. I haven't done that for more than a decade! I should do that this year. So pretty. I wonder how much it is now?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Not precise French precise, but I'm giving it a dialect pass.

Pandora has never tried to set me up.

OMG, when am I ever going to stop fiddling with this phone? I think never. I wish it could have a guest login, so I could put all my private stuff right there in the open, *my* open, but other people wouldn't see it when they picked the phone up to pry.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I am so irrationally averse to googling someone I might be seeing.

I know, right?

I found an interview from just a couple of months ago and her business website. I'm good with that. Sources that are meant to be public.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

My boss asked me just this morning what Brandywine referred to. (Well, he asked generally, and I responded.) I was quite keen on Longwood, especially the greenhouse orchids.

Twenty-five for admission to LG now. Wow. Timed entry for Christmas. I wonder whether it's always $25, or if that was just during Christmas light time. I could explore the site more. If it is general admission price now, the cheapest membership is worth it after three visits. Hmmm. It is a lovely place. I'll put that on the list of things to investigate.

I totally would have googled, aurelia.

Yes. I think when I was a kid, my favorite thing was the bonsai garden... room... place. Anyway, I was fascinated by the age of the tiny, meticulously trimmed little trees. Still am, I guess.

hip deep in pie

Not precise French precise, but I'm giving it a dialect pass.

Quebecois complain that Acadian French is indecipherable. Not that I can decipher either of them.
