Theo, Loki is only 3, but given the way the 'kin eats and plays (Loki actually gets exhausted by her and will pin and wash her aggressively, then RUN AWAY to nap) I'm hoping she has a beneficial effect on his weight. Though I worry about hers.
You guys, it's been a couple months since I heard from Ms. Louise. I finally got up the nerve to tell her about MK, and...her number is no longer valid. Neither is her old number of her ne'er do well relatives. I don't have a good feeling about this.
That's what Clio has. It isn't slowing her down yet, but we've been watching her knees since she was about 2.
Yup. How big is Clio?
I don't think it's severe, but is slowing her down. I noticed over the summer that she was running less but I thought it was mostly the heat. And she goes down the stairs very slowly and reluctantly - but, again, she's scared of the staircase so.
Clio is 12ish pounds. The vet would like her around 10, but like most girls she seems to like to hold onto her weight. (She spent about 8 weeks this summer eating about 30% less than normal and lost exactly 0g.) Sometimes in the morning she seems to be a little slow going down the stairs, but otherwise I'd probably not know had her kneecaps not been slid out of joint when she was getting a check up.
I hope Miss Louise is okay, sara.
Study shows lab rats would rather free a friend than eat chocolate
If any of you were imprisoned with me, I would most certainly want to free you than eat chocolate.
Or I'd eat chocolate WITH you when we were both free.

"They was doing mashups before mashups even existed." ♥
That's how you go green 1949-style, bitch. Believe 'dat.
If any of you were imprisoned with me, I would most certainly want to free you than eat chocolate.
Thank you, and ditto.
Or I'd eat chocolate WITH you when we were both free.
I think that's my favorite part of the article:
There were also cases in which the rat retrieved the chocolate chips first but didn’t eat them until after freeing the other and sharing the chocolate with them.
Also, go rats, with the having each others' backs. Very impressive.
Yeah, me too. I've found the contact number for the senior complex she moved to. I'll call tomorrow.
