Maybe a peeing song?
It hurts to pee, it hurts to pee,
I hate it when it hurts to pee.
But I know I have to wee
So soon it will not hurt to pee!
I'm gonna pee, I'm gonna pee!
Get the bad pee out of me!
Get it out so I can be me.
Ow ow ow ow, pee, pee, pee!
Poor Matilda. Glad she got an appt so quickly.
Was she only given a topical cream for the yeast infection (i.e., no pill)?
Yeah, just the cream so far. But we'll inquire about the pill.
Thanks for the tips, Erin. Cotton panties and pants and showers it is.
Poor Matilda! That sounds massively not fun.
I really ought to head upstairs and clean a bit, but it doesn't seem to be happening. Well, I still have an hour before work. We'll see.
I'm pleased to say that my child has *never* worn anything but 100% cotton undies. Those other things are completely of the devil.
In better news, on Monday one of her teachers showed her how to do a very basic hem stitch, and now she's making Emmett a pillow for Christmas. Her stitches are very wobbly but already improving, and the whole thing is really pretty damn inpressive for a 5-year-old.

Ah, fare-the-well, Col. Potter.
96? I knew he was old, but I didn't realize he was that old.
Oh, Colonel Potter. What a good life he had.
I wish I could borrow Lindy West's confidence for a few hours and test drive it.

I figured she was probably wearing mostly cotton, JZ but I remember agitating my mom for cute nylon Wonder Woman and days of the Week undies when I was a girl.
