Sorry, Captain. I'm real sorry. I shoulda kept better care of her. Usually she lets me know when something's wrong. Maybe she did, I just wasn't paying attention...

Art Crawl!!!

They're cloning a woolly mammoth!

I'm torn between "I want one" and "It's like a SyFy Classic movie come to life"!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

"It's like a SyFy Classic movie come to life"!

Mammothsquito would be better. Or Mammothgator. Or Sharkmammoth!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I wonder if those are still up.

Nope. Locals call it MLKy Way now.

Hec, Eve Salvail.

Point! And she's still very beautiful.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think I want a pig-sized woolly mammoth.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

The locals I know use MLKy Way and Grove pretty interchangeably.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, David, I was waiting for you to answer msbelle's 80s model question from the weekend.

They're cloning a woolly mammoth!

Beginning of The End.

How weird would it be to be that clone? Like, a whole new species develops, but similar enough to us to be interested in cloning long dead species, I guess, and your DNA is the shit that gets cloned. Not that you'd be you. But clone you would be the only you-like thing in all the world. I'm sure there's a really obvious story about just such a scenario I'm not thinking of at the moment.

Still, I'd feel a little bad for the cloned mammoth. Unless they cloned him or her a buddy. And, I guess, for that mammoth, being unique would be normal. Not like it would know any other way or have any way of knowing that there was another way. Unlike our human clone above, who could learn history. But I guess even the human clone wouldn't know any different from its own existence. It could just imagine.

Wow. End of stream of consciousness. I'll try to watch that.
