Don't belong. Dangerous, like you. Can't be controlled. Can't be trusted. Everyone could just go on without me and not have to worry. People could be what they wanted to be. Could be with the people they wanted. Live simple. No secrets.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

a totally simple and addictive game

Oh, god. What day is it? Who am I? Do I have to go to work in the morning?

I know nothing, only that I AM THE RED BOX.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I drenched the board.

No, I'm not going to the next level. I'm going to bed while I'm ahead.

I've been playing/avoiding a version of that colour game for a while now, one with nicer colours and a time element. It's here, under "Colour Splash":

I have to ban myself from playing it for weeks at a time though, if I want to get anything done ever again.

Edit: I'm kind of relieved to hear it's not just me who's susceptible, though.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Wait, what? Aldi has online games? They are still a supermarket, aren't they?

Oh yes. They suck you in with their addictive little games and then sell you yoghurt!

Or something.

I am discombobulated. There's an Aldi about ten minutes' walk from my house and they've never attempted to seduce me with online games.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Good lord. I can lose chunks of time to solitaire. I'm not going anywhere near the color thing.

information libertarian

Okay, folks - my hair is past the hairpocalypse stage and driving me crazy. I'm going to get it cut tomorrow AM. Ideas? It's currently top-of-shoulder length, with shorter pieces in front where it breaks off (see [link] [link] ). LOTS of grey in the front. I am trying to decide whether to go with safe (bob between earlobe and chin, maybe stacked up a little in the back) or SHORT ( [link] ). The grey hair is fairly curly, it's about to be summer in humid Georgia, and I am extremely low-maintenance in the hair department (no blow drying, no product).

Now tagless for your comfort.

flea, I loved Michelle Williams' adorable pixie. Unless you thing it's too short. Might work for summer!
