Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ooh, Allyson, that would be good!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

~ ma to the OMGWTFEYES family because that sounds creepy!

re: OKGO and Muppets

That video made my fucking day. I'm going to have to bookmark it and watch it when I'm in a bad mood because I fucking loved it.

What I didn't like is the vocals on the song. OK Go's vocals are okay (no pun intended) for their style, but doesn't work on the song. This is a minor point given my level of enjoyment of the video.

I do really like a band with a sense of humor and creativity OK Go has that + more.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Aaaand an email came in from GM's Communications Manager (Western something or another).

They'll provide me with a loaner for at least a week.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It's a start, anyway.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am so ready for a break from the heat - 10 day forecast, still no day under 100. That will be 4 days in the last 2 months under 100, and 3 of those 4 were officially 99.

Well, now, isn't that promising? What's the time-frame on getting the part and getting it installed? Will your local dealer install it for you?

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

Allyson, if you don't get anywhere call a consumer reporter and/or tweet your story to Ed Schultz or someone(Rachel Maddow?) I got negged a few times. Although I'm not sure if one counts, because I told the guy his profile looked like crap, and shouldn't he be trying to win people over with it?(Which might have looked like a neg in its own right, but honestly? I really am sick of people not putting effort into these things.) But what made it a neg was that he wrote back "Are you always this friendly?" which I believe was intended to make me abase myself with ladyguilt about not captivating a stranger.
