Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Some stuff just doesn't make sense. But it's fun.
Yeah. That's why I stuck a fork in an electrical outlet when I was three.
I mean, I knew it was wrong, and that I'd get a shock and that it was dangerous, but still... fun.
OK, off to add the preceding to my list of "stuff not to say to a three-year-old"....
For the record: yeah, it hurt.
Steph, you just have to ask. I'll tell you what hurts and what doesn't. We're friends. I'd do that for you.
But it's fun.
That's the key.
but still... fun.
Unless you're tommy! Then I discourage it.
Yeah. That's why I stuck a fork in an electrical outlet when I was three.
We have a story in my family about that kind of thing. When my sister was about that same age, she stuck a metal nail file in an electrical outlet, over the loud complaints of our eldest sister. Sister got a shock and let go and cried and refused to pull it out again. So biggest sister had to pull it out for her--and get shocked herself in the process.
You should film that and show it every Christmas.
Whitefonted for the sqeamish
When I was 5, my mother told my sister (within my earshot) not to let me put my hand in the blender while my mother was on the phone
I don't think my sister has ever really forgiven me for that one.
The argument they're making is that if you get money from the government without working for it, you should have to take a drug test.
So ... can we expect drug tests for the CEOs of the oil companies, big banks, etc.?
Don't be silly, that doesn't apply to people who matter.
