I have a great love of office supplies myself. When I was a kid I was delighted by reciept forms and guest checks.
Cash, thanks- I will start looking for those models. There are just no 10 year old hatchbacks. I think the people with civics are holding on to them.
ION, my LJ friend has no idea how she banned me.
It's very easy to ban people by accident. I'm pretty sure I've done it.
Tep, I was, to put it bluntly, technically a SPED, so ditto. and ditto.
I also liked to giggle at the "embarrassing" TraumaRarma stories in a very "Bitch, please," kind of way.
Oh man, that thing was the bomb-diggety. It was more than twice as large as the rest of the issues!
And it smelled like Bonne Bell and Love's Baby Soft.
I'm full up with an embarrassment of drawing sticks. TWO 132 Prismacolor boxes, an unopened 40 box, an ancient 36 Prismacolor box from my undergrad days, 12 Faber-Castell metallic pencils, my ancient Crayola 64 box (with sharpener!), the new 120 crayon box(es...2 48s and a 24 in a bigger box with a funky sharpener with feet), 8 finepoint technical drawing pens, the Derwnt 12 fashion design sketch pencil set and 24 Sharpie drawing markers.
Good lord. I'm RICH!
Oh, and 5 sets of Mr. Sketch smelly markers.
Um. I think I might have a problem.
I have been thinking a lot about getting a car againe and I have to ask HOW did they get so darn expensive. There are used cars with over 100,000 miles on them for $11,000. I want to pay, like 5000. Which wouldn't be a problem if I wanted a giant sedan, but all I want in life is a hatchback or small pick-up, because if I can't haul stuff, what is the point!
The price of used cars with good fuel economy has gone up a lot since the beginning of the year due to rising fuel prices.
One of the reasons I decided to just buy a new car.
Oh, this is an interesting site. It's fascinating how many ways there are of being my height and weight.
However, it does make me want to exercise.
Now that I'm not in England anymore I miss their stupid block paper.
Standard Paris purchases include Clairefontaine notebooks and 3-flap folders with elastic, which I never see here.
I once treated myself to the 64-crayon box - with the built-in sharpener. The nice thing about being an adult? you can buy yourself the cool things your parents wouldn't.
One year growing up I got 3 boxes for Christmas (probably because I whined so much about not getting them for back-to-school).
The lust for office supplies is sorely tested at this time of year.
Mine died a permanent death working student moveout all those years.
Standard Paris purchases include Clairefontaine notebooks and 3-flap folders with elastic, which I never see here.
With a special exemption for French stuff! Nnnergh.
Oh my god, I WANT A TRAPPER KEEPER. Every year around this time, the insatiable urge for a Trapper Keeper kicks in.
Children of the 70s and 80s, I know you feel me.
OH YES. It’s even worse when I literally am still going back to school every year. I really don’t need to spend money on the things I want for my classroom, but I WANT THEM SO MUCH. This time of year is deadly for me.
