The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Oh, Amy... I am so, so sorry.

Because books.

Which means that likely many of those guys who died were on the team that killed bin Laden, I'm guessing.

The teams assemble and reassemble for different reasons. SEAL Team 6 were, as far as I know, the guys who got bin Laden. I'm unclear if they were on the helicopter or not. But the team my brother shipped out with was.

I just can't stop thinking about their families. Some of the guys had kids. And then I think about everyone my grandmother knew aside from my mom and dad and us kids is already dead. Except her roommate, who held my hand and told me over and over how much she loved Mimi (my grandmother) and that I could use her bathroom if I needed to, or her phone, and what else could she do for me?

I would like to have a drink, but I think not yet.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oh Amy, how sad! I'm so sorry, sending you warm thoughts.

Trust my rage

And, Amy, I'm so sorry.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Amy, I'm so sorry. God, how incredibly awful for their families. And I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother as well. Wishing you and your family peace and comfort, wherever you can find it.

I'm sorry, Amy.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Amy, I'm so very sorry.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

{{Amy}} Many kind thoughts for you, your brother and your family. Between his friends and your grandmother that is an awful lot to have to assimilate. I think peach cobbler is definitely called for, in mass quantities.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Amy, yes about the peaches. That is so much for a Saturday, for you and your loved ones.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

What a hard day, Amy. I hope your grandmother goes peacefully and quickly now that everyone has had a chance to say goodbye. I wish you some calm and peace, as well. An awful day.
