We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

The World Is Not Enough

I... think I saw that one. Brosnan, right? I'm afraid I don't remember anything about the plot or Michelle Yeoh being in it.

Coding and Sleeping

Ripley is badass and no one is surprised.

And 'Let's nuke the entire site from orbit' is really the best plan of action ever uttered in any action movie ever.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

It's the only way to be sure.

I know. I didn't realize it was only Bond movies being discussed. It's the first place I go to when I see "Michelle Yeoh".

I was comparing Zoe Saldana's character in The Losers to Bond Girls in terms of uselessness except as sex objects.

Even though I still love female ass-kickers, I think it's important to remember that that isn't the only way to have a great female character.

Oh, for sure. And it's not a guarantor of a great female character, by any means. Speaking of badass hookers (not that we were), I loathed Sin City pretty heartily. I haven't seen Deadwood, so I can't comment on them.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

I think you would really love it, but its language is quite an adjustment.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

The monthly open sing with the folkies is tonight, and we're actually going. (Topic: Little things) Tomorrow we're going a birthday party for some friends and then to see Captain America. Sunday we're supposed to go to dinner with Gary's dad and step-mom.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Aw, thanks, Jesse. I was hoping to get this in by COB today, but it's not looking good at this point so I may take you up on that.

No problem! I'll definitely have time this weekend to look at it.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

I used to put on red lipstick and combat boots to write papers in college.

I love this image.

Oh, weekend, I am so ready for you. I'm looking forward to more unpacking/decorating/nesting and exploring our neighborhood. And if it rains all weekend and I have to hang out on the couch and read all day, well, I can live with that too.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I know I always have weird hivemind questions, but does anyone know if they make over the bed tables-- like hospitals tables, but they look more like an actual furnishing for your home? I have a bed tray, but I don't really fit under it that well, plus I fall asleep and kick it off my bed. Since my bed is in my livingroom, I often eat, am on the computer and work in my bed.
