I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Ms little i ita, don't you talk about white people being up in everywhere like it's a bad thing. Why you trying to keep us down?

Haaaaaaaaaaa. I love sassy msbelle. SO MUCH.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm here, and still not doing work, if that helps any?

Not really. because I have too much to do to not do it, but I am jealous of you.

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

Sometimes I wish I'd had the foresight to use a pseud when I first signed up for Table Talk. But I was 12, and didn't know any better, and now here I am. It's not that easy to link my last name to my fannish identity, at least, although I bet some determined Googling could do it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I don't want to stay at home with my kids today. I'll go to work for anybody if they'll come and entertain my children in 100 degree heat.

No thanks!

I have work to do, I just don't feeeel like it.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I have work to do, I just don't feeeel like it.

This is me. Also, I have no boss, so hard to motivate me.

I do have to come up with something for my student worker to do today, though.

Because books.

I have no work to do! Well, except a guest blog, but that hardly counts.

We also turned off the AC and opened up the house. Now to see how long it lasts.

Ditto ditto. I'll have a boss on the 15th, though! I should have something to show for myself.

Also am tired, due to some weird gas/indigestion situation last night I had forgotten about until right now. I couldn't lie down flat for hours.

Academics is weird. It turns out that being my boss (the director of all continuing education) is a part-time position. I have no idea how we are supposed to continue to make 1 - 1.5 million dollars per year. We used to have a full time director, a full-time assistant director, and me.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

My maiden name has 14 letters plus 2 hyphens. Aside from most paper forms never having enough room, computer forms balk at the 2 hyphens. Luckily I don't NEED to use it online much, but when I have wanted to use it, it is a pain.

I have been sleeping like crap lately. I need some good sleep. Pretty please.
