Saffron: But we've been wed. Aren't we to become one flesh? Mal: Well, no, uh... We're still two fleshes here, and I think that your flesh ought to sleep somewhere else.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Yes, I think TWOP over-manages, but you certainly don't get crazy troll shit over there. I had to leave the Lost threads permanently when the crazy mod decided that there should not be any negativity and closed the "things I don't like about 'Lost'" thread. WTF?

I like the show, I watched every episode, but I have a right to complain about it too. And the posters in the thread were magnificent. Incredibly funny, catty as hell, and on point.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I consider some of the allowed posts in the SPN threads trolling. They'd be trolling here. They're not reality-based, and they're for the purpose of riling up the like-minded and the disagreeing. Not discussion. But, apparently, the mod agrees with them, so it's all good.

The web doesn't behave as well in IE. I spend a lot of time on the web. I want it to behave as nicely as possible.

That's why you need mascara and a lipstick in your bag at all times

I do always have lipstick, I just rarely wear it. I did remember and put on mascara and groom my brows before I left the house, and put on lipstick at the stop light. I wonder if it's so little makeup no one notices, or it's so much on my usually unmade up face that it totally stands out.

Hmmph. I couldn't find my other dragonfly necklace this morning. So my necklace doesn't match my shoes. I'm kind of sad about that.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

'Course, that's a marriage of a Scots word and a French one, so not really English, so much.

Dude, that's how we make up English words all the time. cf., "Television."

There's a reason English has more than twice as many words as any other language. It's slutty and will commingle with any other language.

ita,

I have never stepped foot in the SPN threads. Most of the threads I read have no recaps.

Do you have dragonfly shoes? Did you wear makeup this morning? Maybe you could draw little dragonflies on your eyelids.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Sorry for forgetting to remind you to wear makeup, ita. In my defense, I only today remembered to pay my mortgage and other bills due on the first, so I might have remembered to remind you by Friday...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I do have dragonfly shoes. I lack both the materials and talent to draw dragonflies on my eyelids.

I thought this was more interesting when I thought the fetuses were chewing.

I have never stepped foot in the SPN threads

I stepped in, tried to stay, and then ran out. They're horrible. They're full of people that hate >=50% of the show and are very loud about it. And the mod is draconian. If you correct a factual error made in a recap, you risk bannination.

Oh, yeah. Rent. I should do that this afternoon.
