You know, I've saved lives. Dozens. Maybe hundreds. I reattached a girl's leg. Her whole leg. She named her hamster after me. I got a hamster. He drops a box of money, he gets a town.

Random updates: My swim times have been for shit the past couple of weeks. Coincidentally, I've lost at least another 5+ lbs. I'm wondering if there is a correlation, or I'm just eating even less than usual due to the heat and slower due to the same.

Mister Kitty's weight has been stable for the past week, only fluctuating by a couple ounces, up and down. And his, erm, output is consistent and not as though his blood sugar is really high. He's still skinny as hell and I'm feeding him extra, but...so far so good. I know I don't have forever. I just have for however long he's happy.

Thanks dcp. I think CJ will be one of the few kids who will actually get something out of the class. The boy has a boxed set of classical composer CDs and has loved listening to them. I think he can name more classical music than I can and I took 3 years of Music History.

Get bigger MK!

We've been told to add 20 ccs to Grace's meals. So we've been adding more. The net result is not weight gain, but more poop.

We had to go to the eye doc for Noah. She was worried that his eyes would be worse -- but they look good -- no need for glasses.

I think Grace is the more typical micropreemie and Noah is a miracle.

Well, yes, they really are....But I'm always surprised when things go okay with Noah.

I just had to reboot my Nook and I now have Ann Patchett's new book as well as one from the library. woot!

Not only are they both miracles, but they seem to so often be full of glee. It's wonderful to see.

How did that happen?!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Ever since we decided to name the cat Mycroft, the husband has been playing Sherlock vids nonstop. It's utterly charming and I'm a little weirded out.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

In futher productivity news, I have (while watching Leverage in fits and starts on tnt's extremely crappy website) sorted business cards in order of importance to contact; fixed my DVD rack, moved it back into place, and loaded it with all my DVDs and CDs; unloaded two boxes of books onto newly shiny bookshelf and put empty boxes in pile o' boxes out of the way; and tried to file my nails (I *hate* filing my nails - any of you nailistas got filing tips or file recs?). Now to walk the Frankster one more time and hit the sack.
