"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I do think Sara should find a bike owner though so she'll have need to visit the shop.

Agreed!

I am super super tired today. itchy and all. We're going to gear up for a bike ride so I should get my butt in going. But man. I'd love just to sleep more.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Errands to run, and HP at night. First I need to shower and dress...

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Have you shown him any Honey West yet?

I should, huh? I just discovered a station on cable that shows Route 66, Peter Gunn and The Naked City.

I did show Emmett pictures of Salvador Dali and his ocelot. Wikipedia tells me that Gram Parsons had a pet ocelot when he was growing up too.

hip deep in pie

I just bought ground lamb to feed Clio. At $7/lb, it's cheaper than the lamb-based cat food I bought, so I'll give it a try.

not your mom's socks.

I was reading some stuff on NPR and I saw a piece about the mayor of Philly. Did Philly folks really elect a mayor with the last name of Nutter?

We did! I like him.

Xposted from natter: sarameg & lisah are you going to the under the bridge market tomorrow? If so we might see you there! Last minute trip to baltimore.

Now tagless for your comfort.

RollerCon's Black & Blue Ball is a modern day Roman Bacchanalia. Plei graciously gave her all to help us in our scavenger hunt.

Plus, I got to kiss her. /Tauntypants

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I do think Sara should find a bike owner though so she'll have need to visit the shop.

Or... buy a bike? Buying and riding a bike around is awesome! Faster (and IME, cooler) than walking, and you don't have to depend on the car so much.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I did! I did give my all! True facts!

I've also been up since 7. WHAT THE HELL, BODY???

Ah, well. I'm enjoying looking at the mountains, as marred as they are by the Trump building of extreme fug.

Perkins and I hook up in about half an hour to go do buffet somewhere.

Regarding browsers, I use multiples. I've got IE9 (which is a pretty good browser, and I am not just saying that because I work on it) for stuff like Facebook (Pinned Sites, I looooooove you) and eBay. I have Firefox for most other things, because I am addicted to my plug-ins.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I should ask all y'all Vegas-going buffista for advice on what to do there if all you have is 1 day and 2 kids in tow. We are driving to Utah for a wedding and need to break down the drive into 2 days.

Truth be told, I'm assuming that me and the kids won't get to do much sightseeing or playing, other than poolside. I'll leave the drinking and revelry to DH and his brother.
