I made my way home, feeling distinctly un-Steph-like and neighborly.
Gracious heavens! That's an event! How do you feel about it?
Pretty good, actually. I don't know what possessed me.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Hey, where's a good place for me to buy a less small than small black leather backpack I can use for work and around? Mine's *just* too small to hold my tablet and my nook. And, of course, I need them both. Zeppos? Anywhere else?
I don't have any suggestions but if you find options, please link.
ebags is a great place to buy bags. They let you search by price, by material or by style. [link]
I have to admit, the first time I cried over the dog episode,(Jurassic Bark?) it wasn't even the episode. It was someone recounting the episode. Then I watched it on Youtube and sobbed. It is the only futerama episode I have ever watched.
This vintage Etsy shop always has a good selection of leather backpacks, ita. I have never bought anything there, but I always keep my eye on it. [link]
I don't even know what that Futurama episode is about, and yet I'm never watching it. Which I think was my reaction last time this topic came up.
This [link] is where I bought my manly man-purse.
Dear tweens in the backyard of the house behind my apartment - if you keep screaming SHUT UP!!!! at each other much longer, I will go down there and beat you with baseball bats.
Signed,
Seriously, I know it's summer, but I can hear you from 4 floors up like you were standing in my living room. Go inside and play video games or something.
I'd give you my small backpack ita, but it's too small to hold a tablet, or even a regular hardback book.
I saw The Champ, I'm pretty sure I cried but frankly it's never held any place in my memory. Unlike Sounder. Sounder was the saddest movie I had ever seen, until I made the mistake of watching Wit. I swear I bawled for 45 minutes straight.
Oh, man, Wit was hard.
