Zoe: Yeah? Thought you'd get land crazy that long in port. Wash: Probably, but I've been sane a long while now, and change is good.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

'Suela, Oh really? Damn. He killed more people though, so I guess that's where he has a sense of accomplishment.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

tommyrot - I sent a link of the story about your son's great catch to my brother who is the fisherman in my family and I am sure will appreciate it as he was also pretty fishing obsessed at that age.

Cool!

Lemme know what he says, K?

Art Crawl!!!

I will!

Isn't funny how when you think of yourself at 13 it seems older than when you look at actual 13 year olds?

It's been a day. Mister Kitty is at the emergency vets again. Another sugar crash I couldn't turn around. WHY does he not do this when my vet is open? The cost differential is insane.

Transferring him to my vet in the morning. I didn't go to the same pet ER, cause I was kinda cranky with them not being on the same page as I was, and this one was recommended by my neighbor. The vet I talked to was so much more on the same page, and actually suggested I might want to transfer him in the morning. All she's gonna do is the routine blood tests to pass along and get his sugar back up. That's all I ask.

Sigh. $$$$$$.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Whoa -- wait, I didn't read closely enough to realize that was tommyrot's kiddo! Even cooler!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Oh no, Mister Kitty! And poor sara too. It's hard.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Ugh sarameg, sending good thoughts.

We are watching Lego Star Wars: Padawan Menace. It's a perfect activity for the afternoon.

I'm actually calmer this time, since I know exactly what is happening. Frustrated it has happened again, but resigned to it.

In funnier news, just went fishing under the stove: 6 fake mice, one crocheted one and a random fabric ball.

Included was one that is Loki's favorite. He's having a lot of fun now.

I need to install some sort of barrier there.
