Call up your internet provider (or chat with them) and see if you can get a cheaper deal. I don't know about TX, but here you can choose your electric kwh prices, shop around for cheaper deals. Do what you did when you moved, cook out of the pantry until exhausted and then restock only as needed unless some sort of catastrophe is approaching.

In my tight budget days, food was the only flexible thing (given that I never bought clothes), but there was a lot of flexibility there. Not buying anything processed is key. For most of my first two years here, when I was in West Portal, the only time I went out was when Buffistas were in town. Beans and rice do go a long way.
Yeah, if you've got a grocery store with a bulk department, it's often way cheaper than boxes and bags of things.
Poble Espanyol!
Juan Pablo Montoya?
I just got back from drinks with my future co-workers. It looks like my first project will be for LucasFilm and will involve lightsabers--not using them sadly, but still, lightsabers!
I am not ready to give up Netflix, not as long as I have the savings to deal with stuff, mac gets so much use of the on demand stuff. Food, though, yeah, I need to get back to cooking a lot more and a lot cheaper.
Well off to bed for now. I am not going to solve all of this tonight.
megan, that's so cool!
Wow, about today's Tour de France:
The pace was such that more than half of all riders finished so far behind Schleck that they would normally have been disqualified.
That's crazy. Of course, so was the route today.
Lightsabers! That's so awesome!
Buffistas have cool jobs!
Lightsabers is definitely awesome. Noah would be jealous if he could conceptualize having a job and working on a LucasFilm thing.
