Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My main agenda item for tomorrow is shoe shopping at Downtown Crossing, so.

Our apartment is nice and cool - I know I'll have to confront the heat when it is PT time. But for now, we are all lounging in the livingroom, doing our things. K-Bug is sewing something, CJ is basking in his birthday glory, and I'm working. Wheeeeeeee.

Aside from Tuesday, when I visited 3 missions in the Bay Area and picked up my friends at the airport and gave them a driving tour of the city, it's amazing how little I've managed to get done during my week off at home.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I've adored Ryan Gosling since he kissed McAdams at the MTV Movie Awards years ago.

I vote for him to run a marathon to demonstrate how the heat index is just a made-up liberal alarmist plot.

Preferably in New Orleans, or Miami.

Glad the new job is going so much better, msbelle.

Chris Evans, nnneerrgh. Maybe StW and I will go see Captain America this weekend.

UPS needs to get here so I can toss the new digital camera in my carry-on and go to the airport, and stop worrying about what I'm forgetting to do or pack.

In case anyone doesn't know what kiss I'm talking about, or like me just wanted to see it again... [link]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am totally kiss jealous now.

One thing I miss in this job is vendor interaction. I think I've been insanely lucky in my career to work with tons and tons of vendors, and most interactions have been positive and fun. But we're not buying any software these days, so no vendors.

But we just had one stop by, and I love other people's applications.

Just booked the rental car for my brother's wedding in FL next month. Got it through Priceline (my first time using them), and I probably bid too high ($20/day for a standard car). Still, for four days and including taxes and fees, I'm only paying $112.

Because books.

That's a great price, Kathy.
