"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

At least that's what Limbaugh says. (Actually, he said that about the heat index.)

I vote for him to run a marathon to demonstrate how the heat index is just a made-up liberal alarmist plot.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Neither Coolidge Corner nor the Brattle fit into the rest of my plans for the day, David.

Ah. Apparently it doesn't open in Boston until next week.

I will go next week! I bet it'll still be hot then.

Jesse don't you have a window unit?

People, you are welcome to come visit me. It may be hotter than hell outside, but my house stays cool and you would have the house to yourself most of the day.

I do, but it only cools the bedroom.

hip deep in pie

People need to come visit me. It's been positively cool at night and while it's muggy, it's not that hot (23C, 29C with humidex), and there is a bonus cool breeze. We are the corner of the continent having the cool, wet summer.

Art Crawl!!!

Our extreme heat warning is only 'til 9 pm (it was supposed to go 'til 4 am) so I'm hoping for storms to come through and cool things down sometime this evening.

Meanwhile, it's freaking cold at the office and I'm wearing a sweater.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's pretty cool here too, on my end of town. And my office is always cold.

I really should have taken a sick day today. Oh, oops.

Because books.

We have central AC and it's still too hot upstairs. I have all the blinds closed and the fans on up here.

I smell a site update.

Oh, that's lovely.

See, he can't fit his life in his pants. And that's a good thing.
