Mal: Zoe, why do I have a wife? Jayne: You got a wife? All I got is that dumbass stick sounds like its raining. How come you got a wife?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The reports of a heatwave are all just liberal government propaganda designed to trick us into believing in global warming.

At least that's what Limbaugh says. (Actually, he said that about the heat index.)

I wish I were more excited about Captain America, because there isn't really a movie I'm super psyched to see tomorrow

Clearly you need to go see Friends With Benefits. Because I'm hoping it'll be better than the Ashton/Natalie one of the same plot.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Because I'm hoping it'll be better than the Ashton/Natalie one of the same plot.

Statistically speaking, worse would be hard.

I am totally psyched about Captain America. Chris Evans has me wibbly.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Somebody tell me stop looking at the weather listings on the interwebs. I'm dreading going home tonight.

Man, I feel so bad for y'all. I'd send you some of our cooler weather if I could.

Me, I could do with it being about three degrees warming in my cubicle.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Clearly you need to go see Friends With Benefits.

That is also on the short list.

AO Scott's review made me more excited about Captain America, so mayyyybeee.

Or maybe the Tribe Called Quest documentary. Mostly I think it will come down to show times.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Go see A Little Help. It was produced by someone, uh, very close to me.

I never heard of it! But now will maybe see it. Good job street-teaming.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just read a (depressing) AP article that describes Spanish Town, JA, as "a gritty area outside Jamaica's capital". That's like describing NY as an area outside DC. It's a whole different parish, numbnuts. Yes, it's outside--just like the whole rest of the island is outside.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Probably not for long, though.

Too right.

Dang, it's a gorgeous in San Francisco today.

Once I finish Matilda's aftercare paperwork I can go walk it over to her school. That'll be a nice excursion.

Jesse, The Godfather 1 and 2 is playing as a double feature at the Brattle.

eta: No wait, that's only today. Tomorrow it's Battleship Potenkin.

Jenna Fischer, chris o'donnell, rob Benedict-- everyone should buy a ticket to it and sneak into something else.
