Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Gladys Crabtree?

Heh. That would be a good name for my '59 Lincoln.

Am now leaning towards 'Blue Frog.' It does look vaguely frog-like.

Does this link work? [link]

Blue Beetle? Valley Forge? Ford Prefect? Captain Planet? Fred?

I like Blue Beetle, but then that makes me think of VW bugs.

I'd name it Winifred, but Teppy named her car that.

Gawd, this car is complicated. The last time I had to RTFM this much was the first time I used an IBM PC back in '84, when I was all "What is this 'Disk Operating System' and why do I need it?"

And there's already software updates for my car.

Ooh, I like that one.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I'd name it Winifred, but Teppy named her car that.

I didn't. Someone else, maybe?

Stupid memory. Someone had a Toyota Echo named Winifred, didn't they?

I honestly don't know. Mine is an Echo, but no name stuck very well. I don't remember ever wanting to name it Winifred. We call it The Spud.

Maybe someone else named their non-Echo car Winifred?

I have been thinking WAY too much about the dog, whom I know call Robchester Darcy Wigglesworth. I am sending the shelter a question about him.
