You know, I've saved lives. Dozens. Maybe hundreds. I reattached a girl's leg. Her whole leg. She named her hamster after me. I got a hamster. He drops a box of money, he gets a town.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Are you a big enough fan of HP to want one of these dolls? And if you are, are you the sort that will let the inconsistencies slide?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Okay, the Voldermort one is fucked up because he looked like a normal kid at the baby through adulthood stages.

Those pictures are far more disturbing than my Twilight baby link.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

ita, did you see this? [link] It is NOT disturbing.

And the werewolf wasn't a werewolf baby. Also, Harry might be a bit young for the scar, but I don't know that detail off the top of my head. Those babies do look wee, though.

Go Idris! It's your birthday!

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Hey, who wants to come help me move in two weeks???

*crickets*

Yeah, so we found a house! And it's really pretty and has a dishwasher and a backyard and two bathrooms and we're super excited to move there, except for the part where we have to move. At the height of a Nashville summer. With two weeks to prepare. This means, among other things, that all the local moving companies are already booked for Sunday, July 31st. We're hoping we can hire someone for Monday August 1st, but I think we're going to rent a U-Haul on Sunday and move as much stuff that day as we can, and just let the movers do the heavy furniture. So, Sunday will be a fun day for us. And most of our strong, able-bodied friends are also moving or out of town that weekend, so I'm envisioning it's just going to be M and me and thousands of boxes full of books.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Where's the new house, Kate?

Our wings are not tired.

Kate, I swear to dog, that one reason I am buying my house? I DON'T EVER WANT TO MOVE AGAIN.

Ahem. But hot damn, I am glad you found a place you love. The horrors of moving will quickly be forgotten once you're all nestled in.
