Goddamn, y'all. My car just flooded. NO ONE TOLD ME MY CAR COULD FLOOD DURING A SIMPLE THUNDERSTORM. I just drove around in my pjs in a panic, looking for higher ground (hint: there isn't any, really) and waiting for the rain to lessen. I ended up parking a few blocks away from my house.
Good thing I didn't buy that nail polish, because I am sure as shit buying rain boots today.
Oh, damn, smonster! My car flooded in NJ once. I think it was because the vents on the hood got blocked with leaves and... something. You gotta dry it out or it'll smell like feet forever, man.

Dude. I had all kinds of errands to run today, but it is just pouring here. The street flooding seems to have subsided a bit in my hood and it's not thundering anymore, but it is a steady, heavy rain.

Okay, I have now had a slice of cake with that oh-so-popular with cake decorators fondant icing and yes: it made my teeth itch.
And it's a shame because the cake itself was quite good. But I guess if you want your cake to look like a quilted Chanel bag than it's that fondant stuff or nothing.
