It's hot as fuck here, and our AC's fan keeps crapping out. we have to go spray it with water. The Ac is only 6 years old, and the fan is 3 years, so we just turn it off for a while and let it take a break.
Which reminds me, I gotta go water my plants. I didn't kill my tomato plant -- I have ACTUAL TOMATOES growing! It's like magic. And my one wee basil plant is huge. I love the way my fingers smell when I pinch the blossoms off.
M is here for 4 weeks! YAY! Tomorrow we wash the dog, and I'm going to show him how to make cinnamon rolls (from a can; he's 9.) He's going to go through his (OMG BOXES) of old toys, and keep, keep for little bro, and cull for yard sale while I organize paperwork and assignments for Wordslinger.
When Dan gets home, I go to get new front tires, and then work until dinner.
