Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm interested in getting back on the list, if possible!

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I've spent the whole day just exhausted. I slept in this morning, finally got up to start cleaning my apartment (Dad was coming up at noon), realized I didn't have either the energy or the time to go to the pool for either my mile swim or for my half-hour lesson, so I just called to let him know I'll be there next week. I got almost everything clean, including consolidating my books from one bookshelf I had in my hallway onto one in my living room, so Dad and I could take it and a printer stand to Goodwill (while Dad was there with his pickup truck).

I also took a big Rubbermaid bin into the bathroom and completely emptied out the sink cabinet. It is completely full!!! I have so many little sample things I haven't even looked at in years--they're all going to the dumpster in the morning. I really should clean that thing out more often than every five years.

I took a brief 20-minute nap towards the end of Dad's visit, and have had a lingering headache ever since I woke up at 4:30. I'm going to bed early tonight, and will delay dyeing my hair for another day.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Cashmere has the box now, and it is going to Anne next

Eeeeeeee!!!!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I feel like I never see you all!! I miss it here.

Jesse, embrace TV shows on DVD - for serious, see if your library has them or somesuch. I need to pick FNL back up. I drop it sometime season 3, I think.

I have been recording old Criminal Minds (Ion) and Grey's Anatomy ( 11pm on the ABC affiliate, I think). Catching good stuff that I missed along the way. Never saw the VanderBeek CM - YIKES! or the Morgan backstory one. ON GA, I had stopped watching before the Yang/Owen stuff - goodtimes.

You people who have cool weather, I don't even know if jealous covers it. I was out mowing yesterday by 7:30am and it was already 85 and quickly rising. It's been 100 or over for 2 full weeks, and it was barely under the few days before that. June was the hottest on record since 1980 (when I also lived in TX and remember that year well). It's 8:20 now and 97.

I've been reading again, after a brief hiatus - Up to 16 book thus far this year and I listened to one book on tape.

I kinda od'd on movies this weekend, nothing actually at a theater, but I watched 3 DVDs - that's 30 movies so far this year.

Now I need to go to bed so I can be up before it is scorching hot and maybe do a wee bit of yard work trimming bushes.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Never saw the VanderBeek CM - YIKES! or the Morgan backstory one.

It took a while before I saw the Vanderbeekfest too. I started going through the DVDs only this year, really. My local store (I rented the DVDs from a store! How quaint is that?!) was missing the middle disks from Season 2.

Worth the wait, though. There are some good eps in that period.

Long time no see, msbelle! I saw an ad for a show called "Rich Texas" or some shit that made me think of you.

I know. It's just, the only DVD player I have is on the laptop, and it's just suboptimal. I was never a huge one for renting (or whatever) media, even when I had a VCR, really.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I'll try and do the cull soon and then maybe post any notables in an email. Then everything that isn't asked for can hit the box. I love the polish box.
