Hey, don't worry about it. Nest full of vampires, you come get me, okay. Box full of puppies, that's more of a judgement call.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

OMG. I coded. (ME!) I researched, added and tweaked plug-ins.

My eyes are crossing.

Can someone pretend they are an author looking at my blog, maybe interested in entering my giveaway and tell me if anything's confusing or crazy looking?

I need a beta or two. Dan made sure it was secure, but he's not a designer or codemonkey.

Oh, yeah, URL. It's www.eringriggs.com

Thanks for any eyes.

Xpost with Bitches, so maybe I can tweak anything and go to bed.

then sorting receipts for the IRS audit on Monday (yuck)

Ew, are you getting audited? That sucks!

FNL! I have those DVDs here. Maybe that's one thing I'll do this weekend. Other plans include a b-day party in the hood tomorrow with rum and kiddie pools, and watching World Cup soccer.

Dang, girl, you've been there a month and I think your social life is better than mine. Sigh.

Tried to go dancing tonight, but have this foot thing that had flared up and made me limp and walk funny. Ow ow ow. Also, boo. And there was a cute Clea Duvall girl there, who I wanted to talk to and didn't get a chance to because I decided to leave since I couldn't dance (I did get a piece of sweet potato pie for one of the women's birthday, though!)

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Yeah, since DH is a freemancer, we knew this was coming someday. Good thing about being honest: not too worried.

Our wings are not tired.

Mmmmmm pie.

My social life is non-existent right now due to work. Won't vent here, but I'm really hating everything about my job right now. I keep reminding myself that I'm well-compensated and it shuts me up. For a few hours. Anyway, working insane hours, including most of this weekend and next. And I'm tired and lonely. Lonely because I'm so tense about work and house-buying stuff (plus having to watch every penny) that I dare not make plans for fear that I'll be shitty company.

Plus, I really miss having dates and flirting and having a reason to dress up.

At least my Giants and the Wigglebutts keep me amused.

Megan, thanks, and fixed!

Scrappy, do you mean "freelancer?"

Because I was trying to figure out -- freelance necromancer? freelance romancer?

I like the freelance romancer option the best. Heh.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

that I dare not make plans for fear that I'll be shitty company.

Awww, maybe JZ and Matilda could swing by to steal from lemons from your tree. That would hardly count as a social event. In fact, you'd be doing us a favor. Plus Matilda could scritch wigglebutts.

Our wings are not tired.

Hec, that'd be nice but I've got no energy for kidlets right now. And I'd hate to be around Matilda without having the energy to interact with her. Plus, I'm working most of Sunday. :(

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

freelance necromancer?

This feels accurate.

Eyes. Itchy. Want to pop them out to rinse them off and maybe soak them in liquid Benedryl. Argh!

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Neil deGrasse Tyson is a fucking star.

Also, I shook PZ Myers' hand and hugged James Randi. That is all.

Off to Penn and Teller's Rock and Roll, Doughnuts, and Bacon party. I think.
