HP tonight, Twelfth Night tomorrow afternoon, possibly When Harry Met Sally in Union Square tomorrow night (I've never seen it), rehearsal on Sunday, freaking out about Comic-Con.
Natter 68: Bork Bork Bork
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I just cleaned out a closet and carried a bunch of trash to the bin. Let's see if this trend will continue.
Unfortunately, my new washer and dryer will not be delivered until Tuesday, at which point I will have been without for a week. I've got enough clean stuff, but I'm realizing what I lack is a laundry hamper! Normally I just throw dirty stuff in the washer and run it when it gets full. Now I need a place to put the dirty stuff.
Well, I have a huge hamper, but it's being used to store too-small clothes that I still have hope for.
Hope is a bitch.
Uh, I was supposed to be cleaning like mad tonight because my sister was coming for a quick trip tomorrow. But she called and isn't coming up at all. So yay, I don't have to clean, but I also didn't make any plans this weekend. so...?
I've got to do some gardening, repot a plant, clean, swim, errand shop, possibly hit up Artscape...
Thanks, guys.
No plans at all. Maybe I'll watch HP 7 I. Maybe I'll do that now. I'm feeling very "eh" about the one out now.
Maybe clean. My head hurts like a bitch. But my place is a mess.
Maybe draw. I haven't done much of that recently.
I'm looking for a panty and I can't find it. This is the style, but I have one in pink gingham print, and I want more.
Ah, well. I'm strangely compelled by the rest of the features, the frill, the bow, the lace--it's so comprehensive. I'll probably get some anyway. Nordstrom's web site tells me they're cheaper if I call and order them. What's the point of that? But I called, and saved the pennies. For my panty habit, I should save what I can.
That's quite a contrast of Harrys, P-C.
What are people doing this weekend?
Watching World Cup Soccer. Also sitting with my mother, maybe some swimming, lots of editing. Oh, and I'll watch HP5. And the final episode of FNL (::sobs::).
Oh, yeah, I'm watching that too! 18 more minutes.
Thanks for the TJ's recommendations, everyone. I got the Beans Go Green, and some frozen Indian meals, and some frozen rice medley. For a treat I got apple cereal bars, which are labelled "this apple walks into a bar...."
I picked up a gift card for a cousin who is having a birthday next week. The cashier had trouble loading my requested $25 on to the card, and we thought he got it figured out -- but no, a) the value on the card is the default $10, and b) I wasn't charged for it at all, it's not listed on the receipt. I'm thinking I'll go back Sunday or Monday and get that fixed, and pick up some chips and perhaps some of the other items recommended.
The store is smaller than I expected, only six aisles wide and about 100 feet long. The parking lot is correspondingly small, with perhaps 50 spaces. I parked farther away, and as I walked in passed by a loud standoff between one woman who was standing in an empty parking spot "saving" it for someone, and another woman in a large SUV who had nosed in until her bumper was within a couple feet of the first woman, trying to get her to move. I missed the resolution, they were gone by the time I came out, but there was a police car nearby that hadn't been there before....
I discovered yesterday I don't fucking get ESPN Classic, so I apparently will really never see FNL.
