One of the early proponents of the "fans are slans" movement was Claude Degler, a former mental patient who formed the Cosmic Circle to unite fans and achieve Cosmic Consciousness. The evolved humans, the Cosmen, would help guide mankind to a glorious future. (Degler also hitchhiked across the country visiting fans. Often when he left, some of the gems of the fans' collections seemed to leave with him.)
Jack Speer, a contemporary fan, mailed postcards to Degler from everywhere he stopped on a cross-country trip. They each said: "I have a cosmic mind. Now what do I do?" I often think this when I'm at a loss as to what to do next.

Heh. ::loves Ginger back::
Okay, now back to editing. I must edit for two hours and then I can go get a haircut.
I haz drugs. The curious diazapam (task as needed for muscle spasms) and more percoset. And aparently I've finally tipped over my prescription deductible and they cost me a whopping $1.81.
PT went well today, I have better range of motion. But not in certain directions and I'm ready to percoset up and take a nap.
I'm a Sleestak.
My sister was bitten by a slan?
Mind you, slan bites can be pretty nasty.
My sister is more likely to be bitten by a slan than to develop a cosmic mind.
Dear Hivemind, when is the women's soccer game this weekend, and where, if anywhere, can I find it streaming online?
There are two games, flea:
1. Noon EDT tomorrow is the third-place game between France and Sweden. I'm not sure if ESPN streams it, but they do have this odd "game-cast" thing with a streaming chat.
2. 3 PM EDT Sunday is the championship game between US & Japan.

That makes a kind of sense, but I would think a muscle relaxer like the awesome Flexiril would be better.
and more percoset.
I know I'm nagging, but...take it regularly so you stay ahead of the pain. If it makes you loopy and you need to work, take half, or extend the dosing interval by an hour or 2. But take it regularly. Pain is not your friend.
Relatedly, I have learned 2 things about tramadol (which, yes, was the dalmatian's Rx): (1) it kicked the shit out of my 3-day headache; and (2) I really should have taken only half. Holy shit, it knocked me on my ASS and I'm *still* groggy and fuzzy today.
No headache, though. Unless I just can't feel ANYTHING.
UNrelatedly, I have a spinach/pesto lasagna with sundried tomatoes in the crockpot, and it smells SO GOOD I MUST EAT IT ALL NOW.
