Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Instead of reading that stupid HP story last night, I should have watched Eureka.

Cool, I have accomplished my first Photoshopping ever! For values of "photoshop" which include: downloading a picture from Flickr, opening it in Paint, cropping another picture down to the solar panel we're planning to install, and pasting the solar panel into the picture in Paint.

It almost looks real. Ish.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I think I deserve a reward. I just genuinely and sincerely complimented a guy I work with on his (completely deserved) promotion announced today even though the very subject of director level promotions at this firm makes me literally shaky with rage. Like, I'm getting worked up just typing this.

I know it sounds petty but after five years of insane hours and stellar reviews, after lining up high-level, high-profile sponsors and recommenders, my group was basically informed that we were not allowed to even nominate anyone this year.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Also, I am now idly browsing eBay for pink glittery shoes. This cannot end well.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Dude, the Federer/Roddick Wimbledon final. Damn.

Wait, no VCR. Still!

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I know, for a second, I was toying with the idea of watching it. But no.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

brenda, that's atrocious.

I like brick red with dark teal, myself.

I am at a workshop for the networking, and had to excuse myself because I was falling asleep. Oy. But I can't leave, because there's still the reception to come.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I think you deserve a reward too, brenda.

I avoid Coke or anything else caffeinated on planes. I want to stay relaxed.

I do so because I want to stay away from airplane bathrooms if at all possible.

No watching the Gilmore Girls season 5 finale on tape when I own the entire series.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Very good colors for people who cross categories.

BTW, here are the three color groupings that T&S use. (Basically they eliminate Spring from Color Me Beautiful, which makes sense since there are very few of them.) Then the color charts later in the book play off these basic ones and give you ideas on what colors to wear together.
