JZ! I'm so so excited for you! May it all come together as soon as possible.

I have a fan for the first time in a long time- which is very nice, because it is very nice.
However, I keep getting this fabric softener smell! It is so weird, but is driving me crazy!
Well, megan, ms belle DID just start her new job which is a huge upgrade over her previous.
JZ so HAPPY for you!

Um, what kind of fan do you have? I am picturing a person who wants your autograph who loves to do laundry.
A box fan! I have no air conditioning.
I like your idea better, le nub. That way maybe someone would do my laundry for me.
msbelle - so happy new job is a better fit!
JZ - so awesome and VERY well deserved.
I keep wondering if I could get a fat raise if I looked outside my company, but for now, what I'm getting from them cannot be measured in just $'s. I'm putting in as much time as I can and making sure deadlines are met, but that is all between Percoset induced naps and doctors appointments. So far no one has fussed at my joke of a schedule.
Yay, JZ!!
OMG, I am soooo glad to be back online. My apartment's power went out at 7:55 on Monday morning due to a horrific storm, and then the office power went out at 4:15 that afternoon (we think it was a transformer blow-out, not storm-related). My apartment power just came back on 40 minutes ago. I'll be spending a little time tomorrow morning cleaning out my fridge and freezer of just about everything except for my frozen veggies and my fruit.
As for the office power, that was still out today, so I had the day off of work (I'm the only one in the department without a laptop, so I couldn't go to the downtown office since I had nothing to work on). I don't know if the power will be up there tomorrow--a co-worker said she'd call me if it's still out at 5:30 a.m., when she's supposed to go to work (she and her twin sister work from 6:45 to 3:00, and it takes them an hour to commute).
Congrats, JZ! Fingers crossed for you!
It is hot. I m sweaty, the fan air brought in to my apartment smells like dryer sheets. And my kitty wants to cuddle. She is warm and furry and perfect for winter. Not so much now.
Woo to the hoo, JZ!
