It's called a blaster, Will, a word that tends to discourage experimentation. Now, if it were called the Orgasmater, I'd be the first to try your basic button press approach.

Art Crawl!!!

No electricity at work all day. Didn't get sent home 'til this afternoon.

Well, we had the option of going home and then being called back in whenever the electricity came back up - and with no further information: I chose to stay. It was, at least, cooler at work than it is here - but so much less to do. The emergency lights went out about 1 pm. No lights in the bathrooms and the bigwigs still weren't allowing the office to be closed completely.

Had I more information, I would have realized that our problem was very low on Com-Ed's priority list.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Heh, Jessica.

I have a G+ invite, but I haven't used it yet, can't decide who I want to be and I can't tell if Google's onboard with pseuds. There are some mixed messages out there.

Because books.

I heard they're emphatically *not* okay with pseuds.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Is today Onerous Task day? It feels like it should be. I've emailed my agent, approved comments on GCS, booked train tickets, posted about the Cranky!Bloomers I have for sale, emailed my doctor with my weekly update, and am going to call into a meeting in half an hour.

My non-onerous task for today is going to meet up with my fangmaker tonight, because I am treating myself to new fang caps. I think I've completely filled my cliché card at this point.

Isn't FB anti-pseud also? I mean, I know that a lot of folks these days sign up with fake names or change their name to be less googleable etc, but...

Our own Liese's FB name makes me giggle every. time. I read it.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Apparently a bunch of Second Life people have been locked out of their accounts over the pseud question. I don't know if it's really widespread or not.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My sister is a pseud on FB. I don't know why. It would be, for me, like telling everyone my primary alternate net-personality. Family, friends, and co-workers have her friended with that name.

Our wings are not tired.

Wait. That's not Liese's real name?
