Monterey Bay Aquarium. Santa Cruz. Depending on the time of year, there may be Shakespeare in the Park in Golden Gate Park or just outdoors at a bunch of different wineries. If you come at the end of September, there's a massive food truck festival at Jack London Square. There are bookstores you haven't even discovered yet. If you time it right, you might be able to make it to a pillow fight or a cardboard tube battle.
Three weeks? I've been here my entire adult life and haven't scratched the surface.
Or, more realistically, a Scola West Coast tour, San Diego to Seattle.
Tom, if you're doing a pan-West Coast thing maybe touring the wine country for a few days would be relaxing and fun? Or hiking in the Redwood Park near Crescent City?
Go to Yellowstone, Tom. We loved it when we were there, and you really need time to explore it properly. You could take amazing pictures.

Well, I had a super crappy start to the week.
When I got in to work this morning, I found that my work laptop had been stolen.
I've got backups, but there's a ton of secure information on it. It's password protected, but the password is not very sophisticated. I just hope the thief is even less sophisticated.
I was without a working disposer for a couple of months. It was bad for me on a bunch of levels.
It's funny, this apartment doesn't have a disposal, which is a little weird. We've adjusted to it, but it was a bit of a trial at first.
