"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, that was why we started with them, because our board treasurer had access to one in Kansas and we had ours in New Mexico and Arizona, so he could put stuff directly into our account and whatnot.

True. The wiring fee was ridic. And yet? I got the money. So I put up with it.

And you're right about the reasoning. All this stuff is just the bank taking advantage of the fact that it used to take a while. Now they have the money and they're earning interest off it while it sits there and I can't get to it.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Ended up at a Japanese restaurant last night. I had a bento box, while everyone else did teriyaki. Yum.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I went to the grocery store to buy milk for my coffee and somehow ended up with donuts.

Oops.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Ooh, doughnuts.

Which I do not have.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I don't either, anymore.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Mmmmm, doughnuts sound good.

We have given Noodle the run of the house, figuring she would hide out as she got used to the space. Nope, she is Miss Adventurous, wandering everywhere, no more slinking. Miss Kitty has become the mean old lady hissing "Get offa my lawn" whenever Noodle gets close. And Noodle doesn't seem to care.

Meanwhile, I want more drugs. Pain is still raging.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I want more drugs too. Pain has me pretty much doing nothing right now, and I'm about to plow through all my meds WAY ahead of time which I will severely regret come Monday.

I have a drawing of a guy I did that I really like, except it doesn't look like Aldis Hodge in the slightest, so it's an abject failure. Other than that, it's great. I really should be focussing on my last big bang picture, but it hurts.

Or baking that banana bread for Colin's roomie, but it also and still hurts.

More meds, please.

I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night.

In connection with the banking discussion, I just found out that ING was bought by Capital One and, because of previous interest rate shenanigans, I don't do business with Capital One. I have accounts at a couple of local banks but I really liked the good interest rates and the online convenience that ING offered for my emergencies only savings account. Any one have a recommendation for another Internet bank like ING?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, I'm a little skeptical about the Capital One thing myself.

I have not done jack or shit yet today. At some point, I'm going to go out for a walk and errands, but I'm trapped on HGTV, per usual.

Am I the only one who spells it donut, not doughnut?

Well, me and Dunkin'.
