See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

It will at least make it more difficult for him to posture as the wounded innocent being hounded by all those left-wing bullies for being such a good Christian, but it's awful that he had the ability to do it at all.

The other guy has at least been assigned to another local church so he could continue his treatments uninterrupted, and two years later he's still alive and serving. And now we know where he is and what was done to him, so we can make a proper stink about it.

(And on a completely other topic, yes, credit unions are fantastic. We found ours through occasional Buffista JenK, and consequently owe her infinite cocktails and footrubs of gratitude.)

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I have Bank of America, which is great because there's a branch right by me. I haven't had any issues, but I only do very simple banking with them.

The status is NOT quo.

BoA is our evil bank. I'm sure they love you P-C, given the nature of your reliable income and lack of debt. (I admit I am totally envious of this. Happy for you, but envious.)

It's also useful because I can pay my rent through a direct transfer to my landlord.

I need to open a for-cash checking account at one of the banks that has an atm near me. Hate always having to drive to get cash. I can then transfer from my Wachovia/Wells Fargo account to them. I'm sticking with W/WF because my parents and my mortgage are on WF, and it makes it very easy and fast to do money transfers.

I GOT MY SWIM IN!!! Even the whole 2 miles and change, at a respectable, if not outstanding, pace. Got back just in time for MK.

JZ, there are no words. And Pix, I'm glad things are on the upswing.

Loki just wound up at one end of the house, sprang his spring and dove through the S-shaped cat-scratcher and ran into the french doors (at the other end of the house) still wearing the S-scratcher. There was a weird warble yowl.

He's quite entertaining.

I love Tyra. Hell, I'm even loving Billy, who is finally growing up.

Man I am now stuffed to the gills with extremely yummy sushi. So glad I decided to try something weird and different and ordered a volcano roll (the thing to the left) - it looked like a work of art in addition to being a really interesting combination of good tastes.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Direct transfer initiated by you, P-C? Or direct draw initiated by your landlord? Because the latter is a bad idea.

Mmmn, sushi. We had black sea bass tonight, special ordered through our little local greengrocer. Mom cooked it with grandma's recipe. It was nom.
